Trolling Motor?
I have a 14 foot aluminam boat (ordinary looking roboat) and wondering how long the shaft should be for the trolling motor. I am either going to get a 36 or 42 inch shaft. I am going to get a 55t maxxum minn kota. I am puting it on the back of the boat and from the top of the boat to the bottom it is 17 inches long. Thanks
Get the 36 for that size boat- the 42 will stick up too much and will get in the way of your fishing.
